Lived Equity Live with Chris Paouros
Chris is a strategy and leadership consultant, specialising in the growth of SMEs and Charities and is dedicated to ensuring excellence, innovation and rigour. She believes football can be a positive force for social and cultural transformation and has spent the last seven years as part of a movement seeking to rid football of discrimination in all its forms and make the game diverse, inclusive and equal.
She maintains that this can’t and shouldn’t be done in silos, that ‘hierarchies of oppression’ seek to divide us and the most effective way forward is cross-sectoral and across all the protected characteristics. She is Chair of the Board at the Women’s Equality Party and a lifelong Spurs supporter and season ticket holder for the men’s and women’s teams. Chris spent many years running Europe’s first ‘out’ women’s football team and is Vice Chair and Trustee of Kick It Out, independent member of the FA’s Inclusion Advisory Board, Board Member at the Football Supporters Association, Supporter Representative on FA Council, Co-Chair of Proud Lilywhites (the official Tottenham Hotspur LGBTQ+ Supporters Association), appointed to the FARE LGBT+ reference group and member of Women in Football.
